| Abstract | A discussion of 4 reasons why [in the authors' opinion] the Dutch computerized clinical record system has been relatively successful: development of a standard clinical vocabulary, effective methods for direct physician interaction with the computer-based system, support of key professional societies, and judicious use of government funding. |
