| Abstract | The University of Minnesota Hospitals have recently [1971] opened an intensive care unit for newborns and infants with a computer-based monitoring system. It is the purpose of this paper to present a series of laboratory experiments to verify the accuracy of computer calculation of cardiac output by pulse contour method compared with the standard indocyanin green dye dilution technique. The clinical facility is also described. |
