| Abstract | This interesting article provides historical background on the creation of MedLine and its early use via teletypes and the TYMSHARE network. At the time of this article, MedLine was supported on an IBM 370/155 at NLM with IBM 3330 disk units. It had been available on-line for 2 years and was being used in 120 institutions. |
