Join a collegial Neonatal team at one of the best hospitals in North Carolina, among the top five percent in the nation for patient experience. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is searching for a hands-on and motivated Neonatologist to practice at our flagship campus in Pinehurst, NC.
Opportunity Highlights:
• Practice at our Level III, 13-bed NICU.
• 2200 deliveries, 225 NICU admits per year.
• Cohesive team of experienced NNPs provides 24-hour in-house coverage.
• The Clarke Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has provided excellent care for over 20 years.
• Block schedule, shared call.
• Several regional level IV centers provide subspecialty consultation and transport when needed.
• 1 Physician and 1 NNP per shift, manageable census. PRN staff available for coverage.
• Participate in the Vermont Oxford Network International Database and the Perinatal Quality Collaborative of NC.

Qualifications:
• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship program
• Board Certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology through ABMS or AOA
• Previous Neonatologist experience (post-fellowship) preferred
• Clean background, unrestricted NC medical license and NC DEA
• BLS and PALS (NL prefers) certification
