Newborn Care Physicians of Southeast Wisconsin is one of the oldest and largest private neonatology practices in the Midwest, comprised of 24 physicians. We staff a total of 6 level III NICUs and 9 level II nurseries throughout the region. The level III units offer state of the art NICU care, including HFOV, nitric oxide, whole body cooling, transport team, and developmental follow-up clinics. Our group also participates in clinical research trials and our level III units are members of Vermont-Oxford Network. Newborn Care Physicians offers superior continuity of care, excellent compensation and significant schedule flexibility. In the over 4 decades of the practice's existence, only 5 doctors have ever left to take other positions.
Our ideal candidate would be a graduating fellow or early career neonatologist. That physician would have excellent clinical skills and bedside manner, and a demonstrated ability to work well with parents, staff, and neonatal nurse practitioners. We feel that the practice's stability and incredibly high retention rate demonstrate how our group provides an excellent opportunity for a rewarding practice and fulfilling career.
