The Yale University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, is seeking a full-time neonatologist who will be on the clinical track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience and qualifications. This position will involve clinical responsibilities primarily in a community NICU in Waterbury, Connecticut, as well as clinical time in the level 4 NICU at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. The unit in Waterbury cares for medical patients 28 weeks and above and is covered in-house 24/7 by APPs. The unit in New Haven is a large level 4 academic unit providing care for patients with all medical and surgical neonatal diagnoses. There is an active neonatology fellowship and pediatric residency at the New Haven Campus and will involve a significant teaching component when working clinically at this location. There would be ample time allotted for the right candidate to pursue addit!ional academic activities as desired.
