Einstein Healthcare Network, now a part of Jefferson Health, is recruiting a new neonatologist to join our NICU team in July 2022. The position will be at our Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
We see ~2800 births in house per year and our 27-bed, level IIIB NICU annually provides care to ~500 newborns/ 60-70 VLBWs. We have HFJV, HFOV and iNO with excellent coverage by respiratory therapy and offer whole body cooling for HIE. Major surgery and ECMO are transferred out. We have a freestanding pediatric residency and rotating medical students from Jefferson Medical College and PCOM. Scholarly and research activities are strongly encouraged. Academic appointments are available through our teaching affiliate, Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine/Thomas Jefferson University.
