This position is full-time at a level III community NICU for a board-certified neonatologist, preferably with at least 2 years NICU experience after fellowship training, though part-time and recent fellowship graduates are welcome to apply
• Clinical responsibilities include coverage of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing comprehensive care.
• Fosters an environment that supports performance improvement activities within the patient care settings and provides appropriate reports as requested.
• Maintains and enhances the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies working collaboratively with the entire care team.
• Will provide education to physicians, nurses, and other ancillary medical personnel.

Qualifications
• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
• Unrestricted California license as Physician.
• Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.
• Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
• Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
• Evidence of exceptional clinical, and professional accomplishment.
• Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
