Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary clinical care to neonates in various settings
- Serve as an educator to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals, delivering lectures, leading small group discussions, and providing mentorship.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, promote patient safety, and advance clinical practices.
- Participate in divisional and departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington State.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical neonatology with a commitment to providing compassionate and family-centered care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Commitment to teaching and mentorship at all levels of medical education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in academic neonatology with a focus on research, education, or administration. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to innovate and implement changes in clinical practice. Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
