Highlights of this position include:
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital has a 12 bed, Level II NICU that is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The NICU is staffed 24/7 by JHACH neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and neonatal nurses.
Our neonatologists in Trinity currently have a 1 week on and 1 week off schedule with 4 NPs. The neonatologists are currently not required to remain in-house 24/7.
Requirements include board certification in neonatology with a record of clinical excellence.
JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospital in 7 pediatric specialties (2023-2024) including neonatology. We are also ranked as the #1 Children's Hospital in Florida.
The JHACH main campus has a 97-bed, Level IV NICU and has an ACGME accredited Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program with 2 positions/year.
