FirstHealth of the Carolinas is searching for a hands-on and motivated Neonatologist to practice at our flagship campus in Pinehurst, NC.Neonatologist in the Heart of the Carolinas!
Opportunity Highlights:
*Practice at our Level III, 13-bed NICU.
*2200 deliveries, 225 NICU admits per year.
*Cohesive team of experienced NNPs provides 24-hour in-house coverage.
*The Clarke Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has provided excellent care for over 20 years.
*Block schedule, shared call.
*Several regional level IV centers provide subspecialty consultation and transport when needed.
*1 Physician and 1 NNP per shift, manageable census. PRN staff available for coverage.
*Participate in the Vermont Oxford Network International Database and the Perinatal Quality Collaborative of NC.

Qualifications:
*Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship program
*Board Certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology through ABMS or AOA
*Previous Neonatologist experience (post-fellowship) preferred
*Clean background, unrestricted NC medical license and NC DEA
