Buffalo Neonatology Associates is seeking a BC/BE neonatologist to join our growing neonatology private practice in Buffalo, NY. Our group has 6 Neonatologists, 10 NNP/PAs, and 2 Pediatricians. We provide Level III and II NICU services at two high volume birthing hospitals for 5000+ deliveries with an average daily census of 30-35 and 900 annual admissions across 55 NICU beds. Level III NICU comprise of newly renovated private rooms including special rooms for twins and triplets. You will join a professional team of 50 OBGYNs, 3 MFMs and 15 midwives. The overall team communicates well, and all obstetric providers work collaboratively with the neonatologists. Newborn nurseries are covered 24/7 by separate Pediatric provider team.
NICU Services:
21 weeks of clinical services per year in 3 week blocks to maintain continuity of care.
Level III NICU calls are 24/7 in house coverage with NNP/PA also in house, with a focus on family centered care. Level II
NICU calls are from home with an in house NNP/PA/Pediatrician.
Ventilator support: iNO, Oscillator, Jet Ventilator
Total body hypothermia
Neonatal transport team comprise of NNP/PA, RT and RN.

Recruitment package:
Compensation package between $225,000 - $300,000 annually including retirement package with 401K plan and employer match + generous profit share
Sign on bonus and relocation expenses
Educational and Professional expenses reimbursed upto $10,000/year

We are a private Neonatology Practice providing services at Sister’s and Mercy Hospitals of Buffalo, NY. Both hospitals are part of Catholic Health, a member of Trinity Health. Catholic Health Network has 5 hospitals throughout Western New York State, with over 8000 employees. The network includes OB-GYN, Primary care and Specialty centers including acute, outpatient and ancillary services in Cardiac, Neuro, Vascular and Orthopedic Excellence.
