The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a BC/BE physician in Neonatology for Clinical Neonatology practices to join the Department of Pediatrics, Neonatology division.
The physician will work with a team of neonatologist in a clinical setting at several locations including Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Community Medical Center, The Bristol Myers-Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Monmouth Medical Center and other ancillary locations as required. Academic rank will be determined by qualifications and experience.
Position Overview:
The physician will join 8 full-time faculty members who provide 24/7 in-house NICU coverage at Bristol Meyer Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) as well as other off-site locations.
The Division operates the premiere academic neonatal ICU in the greater New Jersey area and the only training program for neonatology fellows in the state.
The Division is a part of the Regional Perinatal Center and provides ECMO support to newborns in need of cardiopulmonary support.
The clinical services of the division of critical care are conducted in the 37-bed neonatal intensive care unit / intermediate care NICU at the BMSCH of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a 105-bed acute care hospital located on the only pediatric academic health campus in the state of New Jersey. The BMSCH is ranked as one of America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report.
The Department of Pediatrics has a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, and outpatient services are provided at the Child Health Institute of New Jersey which also houses our research faculty.
The Department of Pediatrics includes physicians and basic scientists who conduct collaborative research with an emphasis on mechanisms of disease, novel therapies, epidemiology and/or outcomes research in the areas of relevance to childhood diseases.
The Department provides a collaborative setting for the study of basic mechanisms of disease and outcomes research that would provide new insights to the treatment of childhood diseases.
