MetroHealth offers comprehensive care to diverse high-risk mothers with special emphasis on socially disadvantaged, minority, and vulnerable populations. The OB and MFM fellowship programs are ACGME accredited and has trained locally and nationally recognized physicians for over four-decades.
The new faculty member will work in an exclusively inborn delivery service unit. The primary responsibilities include delivery attendance with the NRP team for high-risk newborns and managing preterm and term infants, congenital and chromosomal anomalies and other complex clinical conditions. Only, newborns with critical congenital heart disease requiring intervention within the first month and those requiring ECMO are transferred to the regional Level IV neonatal ICU. The core group of neonatologists are committed to providing care based on evidence, develop yearly unit-based quality metrics and work as a cohesive group. The division is part of the VON data base and continuously evaluates outcomes relative to the benchmark data.
New faculty member is eligible for Assistant or Associate Professor rank at the Case Western Reserve University. Candidates with an interest in assuming the program leadership position will receive protected time, mentoring and other support for career development and academic success. Our team members along with the rest of the staff are aligned to the organizational mission and adhere to the STAR-IQ values.
Interested neonatologists should submit their CV and cover letter to:
