Neonatal Hospitalists -- Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP)

The Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Department of Neonatology is seeking BC/BE pediatricians with a strong interest in Newborn Care to join our neonatal hospitalist practice. We currently have positions available in our academic and community newborn and special care nurseries. Attendance at deliveries is required. Opportunities exist to participate in medical student and resident teaching, committee work, research and quality improvement. We value teamwork, diversity, clinical excellence, and a commitment to continual improvement. Those considering Neonatology Fellowship are invited to apply when a 12-month minimum commitment is possible.

BIDMC is at the core of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), a combined hospital and physician group network comprised an academic medical center (the BIDMC, Harvard Medical School affiliated), teaching hospitals, and superb community hospitals, as well as primary and subspecialty outpatient care. The Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Neonatology Team, comprised of neonatologists, hospitalists and advanced practiced providers collaborates seamlessly to deliver exceptional care for newborns delivered in our six member and affiliate birth hospitals and our level III NICU. With 58 community-based intermediate level beds and 62 level III beds, our robust network around the Boston area allows families to obtain exceptional care close to home with uninterrupted access to more intensive support when necessary.
