HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 436-bed acute care facility that offers a wide range of specialty services, including a 24/7 emergency rooms for adults and children, Heart and Vascular Center, Bariatric Center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). It is also home to The Women's Center and The Baby Suites, offering complete care for the whole family.

The 36 bed, Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by JHACH neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and neonatal nurses.
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital NICU offers the following services:
Support for sick neonates from 23 weeks GA onwards.
Ventilatory support including CPAP, NIV, Conventional ventilators, HFOV and iNO
Multidisciplinary involvement, including lactation consultants, pediatric pharmacist, respiratory therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy
In-house breastfeeding and nutritional support
Multi-subspecialty support including pediatric: ophthalmology, ENT, pediatric surgery, neurology as well as additional subspecialty support by telehealth
Whole body cooling therapy

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital Baby Suites average roughly 2800 deliveries per year with a large high-risk population. The JHACH Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians provide outpatient and consultations services at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital (2024-2025) in 6 pediatric specialties including Neonatology. We are also ranked as the #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida.
The JHACH main campus has a 97-bed, Level IV NICU and has an ACGME accredited Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program.
