NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, a 535-bed tertiary facility that provides care for residents throughout Queens and beyond and is situated in a culturally and ethnically diverse area. An academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and the Komansky Children’s Hospital/NYP, NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens has a full complement of ACGME training programs and is integrated into the residency program in pediatrics at the Komansky Children’s Hospital. In addition, the hospital is a site for rotations for medical student from Weill Cornell Medical College. NYPQ delivers approximately 2500 newborns per year. The NICU is an 14-bed Level III certified unit, with approximately 300 discharges annually, staffed by six (6) neonatologists, six (6) Physician Assistants, a team of skilled NICU nurses, including a certified neonatal critical care RN, and additional ancillary support services. Medical and surgical sub-specialty consults are provided by faculty from the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell. Several of these specialists are primarily at NYPQ (Pulmonary, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Neurology) while others are available from the Komansky Children’s Hospital in Manhattan.

The selected candidate will be an employee of Weill Cornell Medicine and hold an academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, reporting to the Division Chief of Neonatology at Weill Cornell and the Site Chief of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials. The salary range for this position is $295k to $350k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
