NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn is full-service, 450-bed teaching hospital that offers a diverse range of services — including one of the busiest Emergency Departments and Level I Trauma Centers in Brooklyn. It is a N.Y.S. designated Stroke Center, STEMI Center, and a bariatric center of excellence. It is also a Perinatal Certified Hospital and a designated Baby Friendly Hospital.

We are currently seeking full-time hospital-based Neonatologists to oversee patient care for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include care of admitted newborns to our level 2 NICU as well as well as coverage of Labor and Delivery (over 4000 per year) in conjunction with the support of our in-house Pediatrics Hospitalist and Advanced Practice Provider team. Additionally there are rotations to our level 4 NICU at the Hassenfeld Children's Hospital which includes supervision of residents, medical students, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. There is also an expectation of participation in Quality and Safety Initiatives. Candidates must have a strong commitment to clinical excellence, have an MD/DO and be board-eligible or board-certified in Neonatology and have a current New York State medical license. H1B visa sponsorship is possible, as well as application for the Conrad 30 J1 visa waiver.

Compensation: Beyond a dynamic work atmosphere, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary $245-$270K. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors
