About the role
You'll provide expert neonatal care across a full spectrum of services, including extreme prematurity, high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia, within a well-equipped Level 3 NICU
. You'll also:
Contribute to neonatal retrievals (air and land) across Otago and Southland
Support antenatal and perinatal decision-making
Lead and mentor junior doctors
Be actively involved in quality improvement, teaching, and service development
What you'll bring
FRACP (Neonatal/Perinatal) or equivalent (or eligible for MCNZ registration)
Recent Level 3 NICU experience, including transport
Strong clinical leadership and teamwork skills
Commitment to culturally responsive practice and equitable care
What we offer
Salary: $185,380 – $267,980 (ASMS MECA)
6 weeks annual leave + 10 days CME leave
